Provenance and the certificate
Each canvas ships with a signed Certificate of Authenticity recording the painting, the edition and the embellishment, together with a personal note from Mark about this verse.
Common questions
Is this an original painting? It is uniquely original, though not an original painting in the traditional sense. The image begins as a digital work, is printed on archival canvas, then finished by hand in the tradition of the monoprint: a repeatable image completed by an unrepeatable hand.
Does it arrive ready to hang? No. It ships unframed, rolled in a heavy duty tube, with a white border for your frame shop.
How long until it ships? Each canvas is created at the time of order. Allow three to five weeks.
What if it arrives damaged? It is replaced free. Photograph the tube and the canvas and write within seven days.
How do I care for it? Out of direct sun, away from damp, dusted with a soft dry brush. Never a wet cloth.
