Mark Lawrence Art Licensing

VerseVisions™ Art Licensing

Put living scripture on what you make.

Since 2009 I have painted more than 700 numbered works, every one born from a single Bible verse. Publishers, ministries, musicians, and makers license these images to carry the Word farther than my own walls ever could. When you license from me, you deal directly with the artist. No agency, no middle layer.

Publishers & Authors
The verse on the cover, painted.

Book covers, Bible study guides, journals, devotionals, and curriculum. Art that was already painted from the very scripture your book opens.

Music, Podcasts & Media
Give your sound a face.

Worship album covers, single art, podcast identity, series visuals, and stage backdrops. One image can carry a whole season of ministry.

Churches & Ministries
A series deserves its own art.

Sermon series identity, seasonal campaigns, capital campaigns, and outreach materials. Licensed simply, priced for ministry budgets.

Makers & Retail
Products with the verse built in.

Home décor, giftware, stationery, apparel, calendars, and packaging. My art already reaches national retail through licensing partners, and there is room for more.

One archive. More than 700 works. All from God's Word.

Every painting in the archive began as one verse, prayed over and painted by me, Mark Lawrence. Nothing is stock, nothing is borrowed, and nothing is generated. I hold the copyright to every image and the VerseVisions™ trademark, so a license from me is clean, direct, and answerable to one person.

The numbered registry is the catalog. Walk it, note the numbers that fit your project, and bring them to the conversation.

Direct with the artist

You write to me, and I answer. Approvals, files, and custom requests move at the speed of one conversation, not a licensing agency's queue.

Wholly original

Every image is my own painting from a single verse. Your project carries art with a story behind it: one man, one calling, since 2009.

Theological care

Each work is rooted in reverence for Scripture. I will help you match the right verse and the right image to what your project is actually saying.

The image travels. The original stays one of one.

A license covers the reproduction of an image on your product or project. The numbered original canvas, its place in the Body of Work, and its keeper's record are never part of any license. That is what makes the image worth carrying: it comes from somewhere real.

How it works

Three steps, one conversation.

  1. Tell me about the project. The product or publication, the audience, the territory, and the timeline. A paragraph is enough to start.
  2. Choose the art. Browse the numbered registry or the gallery, or describe the verse and mood and I will propose works from the archive.
  3. License it simply. A plain written agreement scoped to your use. High resolution files delivered when we sign.

Furnishing a space instead?

If you need art for walls rather than a licensing partnership, start with Art for Churches & Ministry Spaces or Art for Hospitals, Medical & Counseling Offices. Both include room-by-room guidance, project pricing for multi-piece placements, and a free Wall Preview. We gladly work with designers and project teams.

Questions partners ask

What kinds of products and projects can be licensed?
Book and curriculum covers, worship album and single art, sermon series identity, home décor, giftware, stationery, apparel, calendars, packaging, and digital media. If your project honors the Word, I want to hear about it, even if it is not on that list.
Who owns the artwork?
I do, always. Every image is copyrighted by Mark Lawrence and VerseVisions™ is a trademark. A license grants your project the specific use we agree on in writing, and nothing more passes hands. That protection works for you too: it is what keeps the art you license from being diluted.
Can we get exclusive rights?
Both exclusive and non-exclusive arrangements are possible, scoped by product category, territory, and term. Tell me what your project needs and we will find the shape that fits.
Can Mark create or adapt a work for our project?
Sometimes. If your project centers on a verse I have not yet painted, or needs an existing work adapted, ask. Custom work depends on my painting schedule and the fit with the calling, and I will give you a straight answer quickly.
Does licensing affect the collector editions?
No. Licensing reproduces the image. The editions and the one of one original are a separate life of the work, and the numbered registry is never part of a license.
How do royalties and fees work?
Each agreement is scoped to the use: flat fee for defined runs, royalty for ongoing product lines, and ministry pricing for churches. There is no rate card because there is no agency. Write to me with the project and I will quote it plainly.
The Word must go out. Your project can carry it.
