The VerseVisions Manifesto
Mark Lawrence was a bankrupt 30-year-old with nowhere left to turn when he said,
"Lord Jesus, here I am."
From that surrender has grown a continuous body of work: more than 700 numbered paintings, and counting. Each one born from a single Bible verse, prayed over, and painted as pure modern abstraction.
Golds of glory."When He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold."Job 23:10
Reds of redemption."He was wounded for our transgressions... and by His stripes we are healed."Isaiah 53:5
Blues of peace."You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You."Isaiah 26:3
Textured drips. Luminous light.
This is not decoration with a caption.
This is living Scripture made visible.
We call those who keep these works Keepers, not buyers, because works born from the Word are not owned so much as held in trust, and one day passed on with their story.
When you keep a piece of this work, you join the story. You help the next painting be born. You help the next person encounter the love and hope of Jesus through beauty.
This is a personal art ministry, not a poster shop.
One artist. One calling. One continuous body of work that will never restart.
It will not return void.
It will accomplish what He pleases.
"So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth... it shall accomplish that which I please." — Isaiah 55:11
