VerseVisions™ is a contemporary Christian art ministry whose purpose is to share the love and message of God to all people through art and scriptural words of encouragement.

My goal is to inspire and strengthen every person who encounters my prayer art, guiding their gaze towards our Risen Lord and Savior- igniting a divine connection from the eyes to the heart.

Prayer art is my artistic expression where the creation of the artwork is deeply intertwined with prayer and spirituality. As a Christian artist, this means that each piece is inspired by personal prayer, meditation, and selected Bible verses.

Overall, my prayer art is a way to visually translate and share my spiritual journey and relationship with God, creating artwork that resonates with and touches the hearts of others.

Why create Bible verse inspired prayer art? The answer to that question comes from Jesus’ instructions given during the transformative Sermon on the Mount.

“You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.” Matthew 5:14-16

The Bible serves as my guiding light- offering life-changing messages of peace, guidance, and unwavering hope. Even in the face of adversity I find solace and direction in its timeless wisdom. It is a privilege and my passion to share the Word of God through the lamp of my art.

"So is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it." Isaiah 55:11

I discovered the passage below in the introduction of a study Bible. Though I'm uncertain of its author, it captures the significance of the Bible in my life.

The Bible

This Book contains the mind of God, the state of man, the way of salvation, the doom of sinners and the happiness of believers.

Its doctrines are holy, its precepts are binding, its histories are true, and its decisions are immutable. Read it to be wise, believe it to be safe and practice it to be holy.

It contains light to direct me, food to sustain me and comfort to cheer me.

It is the traveler's map, the pilgrim’s staff, the pilot's compass, the soldier’s sword, and the Christian's character.

Here Paradise is restored, Heaven opened, and the gates of Hell disclosed. Christ is its grand object, my good is its design, and the glory of God is its end.

It should fill the memory, rule the heart and guide the feet. Read it slowly, frequently and prayerfully.

It is given to me here in this life, will be opened in judgment and will be remembered forever.

It involves the highest responsibility, will reward the greatest labor and will condemn all who trifle with its sacred contents.
