The Editions

The Editions

One painting. Four ways it reaches your wall.

Since 2009 I have numbered every painting into one Body of Work, more than 700 and counting. Each painting is made once. But the verse it carries is for everyone. So every work goes out into the world in four forms, from a printable you can frame today to the single canvas finished by my own brush.

The One of One
from $3,610
Only one is ever made. Only one ever will be.

The largest canvas of the work, the whole surface hand-painted in clear impasto, contour by contour. When it is collected, it is recorded in the Body of Work with its keeper's name, and it is gone.

An edition here can only shrink. It can never grow.

Most publishers grow an edition when it sells well. I will not. When a size is retired, its edition closes at the number already sold, and it never reopens. In 2026 I retired several older sizes, and the old Signed and Numbered tier with them. If one of those canvases hangs in your home, it became rarer the day I closed the books. The same holds at the top. Each painting will only ever have one One of One. For some works, that canvas found its keeper years ago. It is theirs, and I will never make another. That is my promise, in writing.

Sizes and prices

One size per orientation, chosen by each painting's own proportions. Every painting keeps its native shape at every size. The art is never cropped to fit.

Horizontal 48" × 32" at $2,300 60" × 40" at $3,610

Every work's exact edition count is printed on its page and on the certificate that ships with it.

Collector and One of One canvases ship rolled in a tube, the way museums ship large paintings. The framing guide walks you from the tube to your wall, and we can ship straight to your framer.

Questions people ask

Is a Collector Edition an original painting?
Each Collector Edition canvas is uniquely original. It begins as a museum-grade print of my original digital painting, and then I finish the entire surface with my own brush in clear impasto texture, so no two canvases in an edition are alike, in the tradition of the monoprint. It is not an original painting in the traditional sense, and I will always tell you exactly what you are collecting.
How many canvases are in a Collector Edition?
Never more than five, and many editions are smaller. The exact count for every work is printed on its page and on the signed certificate that ships with the canvas. An edition can close early, but it can never be reopened or enlarged.
Can an edition ever grow?
No. An edition here can only shrink. When a size is retired, the edition closes permanently at the number already sold. That promise is what makes the number on your certificate mean something for the rest of its life.
What is The One of One?
The single largest canvas of a work, hand-painted across its entire surface in clear impasto and made exactly once. One work, one One of One, forever. When it is collected it is recorded in the Body of Work with its keeper's name, or "name withheld," always your choice, and the work is marked Collected for good.
Do the canvases arrive framed?
Open Edition prints are made to order in the USA and arrive ready to hang, stretched or floated in a solid wood frame if you choose one. Collector Editions and One of One canvases ship rolled and unframed, which is the safest way to ship canvases of this size. Your local framer can stretch one beautifully in about a week, and the framing guide shows you exactly what to ask for. We can even ship straight to your framer.
What do I receive with a printable digital edition?
The complete painting at print resolution, a certificate for your authorized digital edition, a note from me, and a license that covers use in your church or ministry. It is delivered to your inbox within minutes for $29.99.
What does my collecting actually support?
This is a personal art ministry, not a poster shop. Your keeping of one piece helps the next one be born, and it helps build toward the dream at the end of this road, a place where people will one day walk through this same beauty in person.
Every edition begins in the same place. One man, one verse, one canvas at a time.
