Why I send each painting out
So is my word that goes out from my mouth: it will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
Isaiah 55:11
Each painting is sent out into the world as an invitation, to draw people to the power and purposes of God's Word. The Word must go out. That is why the work has not stopped since 2009, and why it will not.

The One of One
A single canvas, the entire surface hand-painted in clear impasto texture, contour by contour, and signed by my hand. Only one is ever made, and only one ever will be.
When you collect an original, you give a verse a permanent home, and the prints carry its invitation on. When a work is collected, it is gone.

In the order they came, first to newest. Every painting begins in scripture. Some verses return, and each time the painting is entirely new.
