What is a Giclee?
"Giclée" means fine-art ink jet print. The term was coined to differentiate fine art prints from commercial proofs made from similar equipment. Giclée prints have the different colors of ink mix on the surface of the paper, so the colors are bright and uniform, even when examined close up. Our giclée printers use 8 colors of ink (cyan, light cyan, magenta, light magenta, yellow, black, light black, and light light black), so we are able to produce a wider spectrum of color than a traditional print.
The Giclee printing process produces a fine stream of ink to create a vivid, pure color reproduction with exceptional detail that is suitable for fine art gallery or museum display.
We use the best large-format printers, fine art canvas or museum quality paper, and archival quality inks for the production of our giclées. All of our fine-art giclée prints (both paper and canvas giclées) are printed on industry leading large-format printers that deliver a level of quality that is unsurpassed. These exceptional printers produce full color giclée prints that are sometimes very hard to distinguish from the original art work!
Our original art image is created digitally on state of the art computers at the highest resolution so you can be assured of the highest quality giclée print results. Color matching is done through the best available production software to provide collectors the highest quality limited edition fine art giclee possible.
Ultra-Embellished Canvas Limited Edition Fine Art Giclees
Our premier limited edition canvas giclées are hand-embellished, hand signed, and hand numbered by Mark Lawrence. Our embellishing process is of the highest quality using the finest artistic gel medium to add brushstrokes and texture to the finished piece. For this reason, every Mark Lawrence Gallery limited edition canvas fine art giclée is unique. Unless otherwise noted, edition sizes are strictly limited to increase collector value. Each limited edition canvas giclée is hand signed and numbered on the back of the canvas by the artist, Mark Lawrence.

Archival Paper Limited Edition Fine Art Giclees
Our limited edition archival paper intermediate and petite sized fine-art giclee prints are created from the original abstract art of internationally collected artist Mark Lawrence. Archival paper giclées have specified limited edition dimension sizes listed to increase investor value.
Mark Lawrence Gallery archival paper fine-art giclées are printed on 100% Cotton Fiber paper that is acid and lignin free. We also use archival inks to ensure that your prints last a lifetime without fading or loss of color if treated properly.
The art dimension sizes quoted are for the actual size of the printed image. An additional unprinted two inch border is included for framing. The giclee's edition count, title, and the artist's signature are handwritten in the border within the first half inch beneath the image.
Each giclee is carefully packaged and shipped rolled in a high quality shipping tube and is ready for matting and framing by your favorite frame shop upon arrival.
