I don’t just create art to make walls look better.  I am driven to inspire encouragement and hope by sharing my passion of our amazing Living God with the gift of art that He has given to me. God reveals Himself to us in so many ways, yet it is so easy to overlook His presence. Thank you for sharing my passion to bring Him the preeminent praise, honor and glory that He alone is due in our lives. My prayer is that my artwork will clearly reflect and speak His magnificent love for you at a time when it is needed most.

Why create Christian themed art? The answer to that question comes from Jesus’ instructions given during the world-shattering Sermon on the Mount.

“You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.” Matthew 5:14-16

My vision is to encourage and strengthen everyone who views my scripturally inspired art, through sharing the amazing love and grace that God has poured into my life. The closer I grow to God through Jesus Christ, the more I feel compelled to share with others the reality of my risen Lord and Savior.

Creating art is my best attempt to share my love of Jesus Christ with the world; placing my lamp on a stand. The colors, styles, and techniques I use are just my modest attempt to shine the bright light of Jesus for all to see; so that they too will know, and praise my heavenly Father.

God speaks to me through the Bible with a message and clarity that shakes me to my core. Through the Bible, God gives me peace, direction, and the hope to continue moving forward even when all I see tells me to give up. I cannot help but share with others the scripture that gives me life and hope for the future. God’s word is His messenger; it is never sent, nor received by accident.

"So is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it." Isaiah 55:11

I found the text below in the introduction of a study Bible. I’m not sure who wrote it, but it does a great job of describing the importance of the Bible to me.

The Bible

This Book contains the mind of God, the state of man, the way of salvation, the doom of sinners and the happiness of believers.

Its doctrines are holy, its precepts are binding, its histories are true, and its decisions are immutable. Read it to be wise, believe it to be safe and practice it to be holy.

It contains light to direct me, food to sustain me and comfort to cheer me.

It is the traveler's map, the pilgrim’s staff, the pilot's compass, the soldier’s sword, and the Christian's character.

Here Paradise is restored, Heaven opened, and the gates of Hell disclosed. Christ is its grand object, my good is its design, and the glory of God is its end.

It should fill the memory, rule the heart and guide the feet. Read it slowly, frequently and prayerfully.

It is given to me here in this life, will be opened in judgment and will be remembered forever.

It involves the highest responsibility, will reward the greatest labor and will condemn all who trifle with its sacred contents.
